Blood dripped from the tips of his fingrs, falling onto the cold tile of the church floor. A place that should have been holy, that should have never been tainted like this.
Thou shall not kill.
It rang over and over again in his head, refusing to leave. It would forever torment him, wouldn’t it? A reminder of the vow he had taken, a reminder of what he had chosen to give up.
“Craig?” Tweek’s voice broke him out of the pity party he was throwing for himself. Craig looked over at Tweek, wiping his hands free of blood on his pants.
“I’m fine.” Craig refused to let his emotions get in control of himself, not in this moment, when Tweek needed him. “Are you okay?”
Tweek nodded, his hands coming forward and grasping at the edges of Craig’s shirt, keeping him close. Craig wrapped his arms around Tweek’s shoulders sighing.
No one would take Tweek away from him, no one, not even another priest.
